GVA Williams has named James Dempsey as managing director of its project management division. He will advise clients on office, retail, residential, and industrial projects. Throughout his 25-year real estate career, Dempsey has brought high-profile projects to closure, including the interior fit-out of 160,000 s/f for the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission in the World Financial Center. Dempsey earned his bachelor of architecture from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, and focused on architecture when he attended Brooklyn Technical High School.
