Weiler joins Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty as senior vice president marketing & business development

Cold Spring Harbor, NY According to Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty's CEO Deirdre O’Connell  the company recently welcomed marketing and brand management expert Marion Weiler to the organization as its senior vice president marketing & business development. 
“We are exceedingly pleased to add an executive of Marion’s caliber and experience to our team,” said O’Connell.  “Her significant work in brand development and management from both a domestic and global perspective will help Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty’s further solidify its reputation as the premier source for buying and selling real estate on Long Island.”
Weiler brings to her position a thorough understanding of what it takes to set businesses apart and position them as world-class brands, having held multiple corporate leadership roles in brand management and marketing at global corporations.  Her focus has been on developing and managing brands to further increase brand awareness and perfect brand perception to attain higher brand equity and increased profits.  She has consulted for some of the world’s most respected Forbes 500 companies on branding strategies.  
Prior to joining Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, Weiler most recently spent a year in Germany on the faculty of the School of Business of Hochschule Mainz - University of Applied Sciences. Before that, she served as marketing director for NRT, one of the nation's largest owners and operators of residential real estate brokerages with operations in more than 50 of the 100 largest metropolitan areas in the U.S.  She led and managed the marketing function for NRT’s Coldwell Banker and Coldwell Banker Previews brands, focusing on strategic market planning and delivery to drive the local marketing planning process and subsequent marketing programs. She was also instrumental for the education pertaining to and the orientation of marketing systems; internal & external communications, and strategy and training related to business development in the luxury market. She guided Coldwell Banker’s top real estate agents and entrepreneurs in the creation of their professional and personal brand.
A global citizen, Marion has lived and worked on both coasts of the United States as well as in Europe.  She holds an MBA in Marketing, a bachelor’s degree in International Business Management & Marketing, a Certificate in Industrial and Organizational Behavior, and is a licensed real estate salesperson.  She lives in Syosset.
