Hauppauge, NY The U.S. Green Building Council Long Island chapter (USGBC-LI) held their 12th Annual Building Green Dinner. The event was held at IBEW Local 25 Catering Hall at 370 Motor Parkway on June 13th. The honorees included the following:
• Dr. Yacov Shamash, Ph.D., vice president of economic development at Stony Brook University.
• Sarah Oral, P.E., LEED-AP BD+C, civil engineering director at Cameron Engineering.
• Volunteer of the Year: Rosemary Mascali, LEED-AP O+M, manager at Transist Solutions.
USGBC-LI is dedicated to encouraging and facilitating sustainable practices on Long Island through advocacy, education and outreach efforts to local municipalities, residents, and building industry professionals.
