Sunrise Association to hold 13^th Annual Golf Classic

Oceanside, NY On August 5^th, the Sunrise Association will hold its 13^th Annual Mildred & Samuel Levine Memorial Golf Classic to Benefit Sunrise Day Camp-L.I., a day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, offered free of charge. Over the past 12 years, the golf classic has raised more than $8 million to support the children of Sunrise. The event will be held at The Seawane Club, Rockaway Hunting Club, and the Rockville Links Club.

This year’s host is Anita Marks, a sports TV and radio personality. She is the host of The Anita Marks Show on NBC Sports Radio as well as a sports commentator for The Bleacher Report, CBS Sports, and a member of the New York Giants broadcast team. As an avid golfer, she’s also turned her passion for golf into a weekly show on ESPN New York, called On the Tee with Anita Marks.

The event will honor: Shelly and Larry Cohen, supporters and volunteers; Jules Leibman, G.A. Fleet Associates; and Bruce Watterson, Signature Bank. The Community Partner Award will be presented to Alliant.
