NAI Friedland closes six lease transactions totaling 54,000 s/f

NAI Friedland's closed six transactions totaling 54,000 s/f. The industrial division completed the following: * 23,000 s/f lease at 80 Hartford Ave., Mount Vernon. Executive VP Steve Kornspun represented the tenant, Pyramid America, and senior executive VP Ross Schneiderman represented the landlord, 80 Hartford LLC. * 10,000 s/f lease at 365 Canal Place, Bronx. Schneiderman represented the tenant, Prince International Corp. and the landlord, Gladiator Realty Corp. * 8,000 s/f lease at 500 Nepperhan Ave., Yonkers. Executive VP Steve Kornspun and industrial specialist Ryan Shay represented the tenant, N.Y.C. Opera and the landlord, RJ Rose Realty. * 8,000 s/f lease at 164 Canal St. West, Bronx. Senior executive VP Peter Cokin represented the tenant, Shleppers Moving & Storage and the landlord , TLD Deegan Realty LLC. * 4,000 s/f lease at 734 S Columbus Ave., Mount Vernon. Schneiderman and industrial specialist Atanu Bhattacharjee represented the tenant, Surface Contracting Corp. and the landlord, Richard Palmer Enterprises. The office division completed a 1,000 s/f lease at 73-77 Bedford Rd., Katonah. Office specialist Steve Kaufman represented the tenant, Allstate Insurance. "Last year was a good year for NAI Friedland and we finished up strong. Our brokers closed deals that took many months to consummate, but it shows that business is out there and our brokers are actively in the market," said Tony Lembeck, NAI Friedland's CEO. "Our clients are seeing the value in working with a local firm that has the global reach of NAI and even in this difficult economy, our brokers are continuing to match clients with space that suits their needs."
