Cook of KDA represents seller in $1.9 million sale of 1635 Albany Avenue, an 18,500 s/f property purchased by safeguard storage

According to Kalmon and Neil Dolgin, co-presidents of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, Inc. (KDA), the firm arranged the sale of an 18,500 s/f property at 1635 Albany Ave., in the East Flatbush section of the city for $1.9 million. Jean Cook of KDA represented the seller, Albany Roe Corp., in the transaction, and Allan Profeta of Premier Properties represented the buyer, Safeguard Storage. The property, consisting of a 14,500 s/f building on 18,500 s/f of land, was purchased by Safeguard Storage, a national self-storage chain with locations along the East Coast and throughout the Midwest. The company has plans to develop a self-storage facility on the site at 1635 Albany Ave. The property is located between Avenue H and Glenwood Rd., and is convenient to the 2 and 5 subway lines. Major thoroughfares Kings Highway and Flatbush Ave. are within proximity to the property.
