JCRC-NY signs 10-year, 7,800 s/f lease at 520 Eighth Ave.

New York, NY According to GFP Real Estate LLC, The Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, Inc. (JCRC-NY), the pro-active central coordinating and resource organization for the Jewish community in the eight-county metropolitan New York area, has signed a 10-year lease for 7,800 s/f of space on the 14th floor of 520 Eighth Ave.

Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the owner, GFP Real Estate. JCRC-NY plans to use its new space for its executive and general offices; GFP Real Estate will build out the space according to JCRC-NY’s specifications. The space was previously occupied by LogOn Computers.

“JCRC-NY is one of the most respected and active non-profits in the region, and we are thrilled to have them join the roster at 520 Eighth Ave.,” said Jeffrey Gural, chairman and principal of GFP Real Estate.

Built in 1926, the 26-story office tower comprises more than 860,000 s/f. The building is in close proximity to the Port Authority bus terminal and provides access to transportation lines, including the A, C, E, 1, 2, and 3 trains, as well as the Amtrak, LIRR and NJ Transit lines.

Major tenants at the 93% leased building include ASPCA, SelfHelp, and Ripley Grier Studios, among others.
