New York, NY Commercial property transactions worldwide totaled $1.2 trillion in 2015, according to a report by Real Capital Analytics. With investment activity at record levels, the timing is right for real estate power players to meet at Global Property Market, a conference that will be held on June 1-2 at the Javits Center in New York. The curated conference program – the first of its kind to take place in New York City – will bring together the world’s real estate community to examine and discuss the pertinent trends and opportunities related to international commercial real estate investment and development. Global Property Market will include 30+ panel sessions with the chance to hear first-hand from 100+ leading speakers, including Dr. Fareed Zakaria from CNN. Building on the successful Real Estate Forums series in Canada, Global Property Market will provide a targeted opportunity for networking and strategic information gathering on the top 30 markets for global investment, capital flows into and out of North America, development activity in tier one countries, as well as an expert look at growing and emerging markets. “One of the most positive trends throughout 2015 was the growth in cross-border flows, which were up 28% totaling $289 billion, according to a report by Real Capital Analytics,” said George Przybylowski, vice president of Informa Canada, producer of Global Property Market. “This series will bring together a dynamic group of global real estate players to analyze international capital flow trends in the heart of New York City.” Participants will have access to the largest network of global real estate and investment professionals, including institutional investors, developers, government and investment authorities, leading architects, designers, consultants and all senior professionals involved in the real estate industry. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a series of real estate tours showcasing leading developments throughout the New York City area. These include a first-hand look at Hudson Yards, the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States, developed by Oxford Properties Group, Platinum Sponsor of Global Property Market. Additionally, there will be a Hudson River boat tour for the best view of the architectural marvel of the New York City skyline, and a walking tour of the High Line featuring developments along the elevated public park spanning 22 blocks.
