Frier Levitt relocates with 7,539 s/f office lease at One World Trade Center

Manhattan, NY The Durst Organization and The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey have arranged for national healthcare and life sciences law firm Frier Levitt to sign a lease for 7,539 s/f on the 45th floor at One World Trade Center. Known for having one of the largest creative community of technology, advertising, media, and information (TAMI) firms, One World Trade Center has continued to diversify with a recent growing base of finance, insurance, and real estate (FIRE) companies as well as law.

In addition to the Frier Levitt lease, Durst recently completed 50,000 s/f of lease renewals at the building with tenants including Capital Rx, LLC, OnyxPoint Global Management, and MCR Hotels / MORSE Development. 

“One World Trade Center is one of the most dynamic buildings in New York City. With a diverse tenant mix, immediate proximity to mass transit, and top-tier amenities, the building is 95% leased and continues to draw tenants looking for a great community and prestigious address. We welcome Frier Levitt to One World Trade Center,” said Jody Durst, president of The Durst Organization.

The Durst Organization was represented in house by Eric Engelhardt and Karen Rose and by Newmark’s David Falk, Peter Shimkin, Hal Stein, Jason Greenstein, and Nathan Kropp. Jared Horowitz and Daniel Appel of Newmark represented Frier Levitt.

With over 50 attorneys, many of whom are also licensed clinicians, Frier Levitt provides regulatory, transactional, and litigation counsel to clients including large physician group practices, hospitals, hospital medical staff, ambulatory surgery centers, laboratory companies, and other service providers.

Built by The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and The Durst Organization in a public-private partnership, One World Trade Center is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.

The new to market penthouse floors sit at the top of the skyscraper. Penthouse 1 offers 33,000 s/f and Penthouse 2 offers 13,000 s/f of premium, double-height space with two stories of windows throughout the floors and slab-to-slab heights over 20 ft. tall. The penthouse floors feature 360-degree views of New York City, the harbor, and the Hudson and East Rivers.
