Cline joins Prime Engineering, PC team

Holtsville, NY Joseph Cline, PE has joined Prime Engineering, PC. He is a professional engineer with 28 years of experience within the civil engineering, government and consulting fields. 

Cline has provided support on many of Prime Engineering’s state contracts at Stony Brook University and brings a greater breadth of expertise to the organization with the background in government contracts and his varied knowledge in site design work.  

Prior to joining Prime, Cline was the town of Huntington’s  director of engineering services for seven years. At the town he directed the operation of the four divisions of engineering services: Engineering design, building department, fire prevention and the Dix Hills Water District. He was responsible for the management of a $6 million annual Operating Budget and a $5 million annual capital budget.  

Before joining the town of Huntington, he excelled to partner in a consulting engineering firm where he started his engineering career in 1991. Cline has an engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy. 

He is a loving husband to his wife of 26 years, Laurie and proud father of four (4) young boys; Mason (20), Hayden (19), Logan (17) and Devin (16).  

In his spare time, Joe enjoys reading, yoga, CrossFit, cycling and spending time with his wife and four sons.
