BOMA LI holds presentation - February 14th

Melville, NY BOMA LI held a presentation on February 14th  that focused on utility discounts, 2019 PSEG Rebates, latest LED approved fixtures/lamps and topic requests. The event was held at 68 South Service Rd., RXR Lower Level Team Room.

Part I: “Incentives for Companies moving to Long Island,” focused on  how potential tenants could be eligible for utility discounts and economic development programs. Given by PSEG Long Island’s Alex Nyilas, manager economic development, and Mike Brown, major account executive.

Part II: “2019 PSEG Rebate Offering.” Given by Maureen McDonald, energy consultant and Alex Valentino, outreach manager, PSEG Long Island.

Part III: “Latest Technology of LED Fixtures & Lamps that quality for the 2019 Rebate Program.” Given by: Neil Glachman, CEO, & Bob Wittman, labor relations executive, at Green Lumens and Eric Pucci, energy solutions specialist, at Turtle & Hughes.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
