Who or what do you attribute to your success?
Very early on in my career, I had the opportunity to work on a large complicated international project. It turned out that my conclusions were right in line with how the market saw the situation. That project really built up my self-confidence which is key to success in any career.

What was your favorite thing to do when you were a kid?
I never liked playing with dolls. Instead, I loved sewing, knitting and cutting up paper dolls. I read somewhere that using your hands and fingers at early age helps develop your brain. I’m not sure if this true or not but I sure had a lot of fun.

?What do you consider to be your greatest success in the past 12 months?
I think it’s really important to not be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. High return comes from taking on high risk. I left my old company after 12 years and decided to try a new environment. This opened doors to different types of engagements which I would have never experienced. Status quo means you’re not moving forward when everyone else is.

What advice can you offer to someone who is just getting started in your industry?
I’ve worked with many new hires throughout my career. I can usually tell if he/she will be successful in the first three months. Having the necessary skillset is a must but you can usually learn this if you have an interest in succeeding in the field. In my opinion, having a positive attitude and good communication skills are crucial, especially in the consulting industry.
