BRP Cos. signs 22,500 s/f lease with SuperFresh

Queens, NY BRP Companies signed a 25-year, 22,500 s/f lease with SuperFresh, a community-focused supermarket, at Ruby Sq., which is located at 166-20 90th Ave. in Jamaica. Upon opening in spring of 2026, SuperFresh’s expansion into the neighborhood will bring expanded fresh food access to the surrounding community.

Hymie Dweck of RIPCO Real Estate represented the tenant, SuperFresh. The landlord, BRP Companies, represented themselves.

Ruby Square is a 614-unit, 12-story, 715,000 s/f mixed-use development located at 166-20 90th Ave. The property features a mix of studios (7), one-bedroom (454), and two-bedroom (153) units, with 185 of the building’s units reserved for residents earning 80% and 130% of the area median income (AMI). The property additionally encompasses 50,000 s/f of shared resident amenities, 22,500 s/f of retail space, and 5,000 s/f of community space.

Ruby Square is located near Jamaica Station, a major transit hub that provides access to the AirTrain terminal link to JFK Airport, as well as the Long Island Rail Road, multiple bus routes, and the F, E, J, and Z subway lines. The building is accessible from the Grand Central Pkwy., the Jackie Robinson Pkwy. and the Van Wyck Expwy.
