Venture Brokerage Group represents Starbucks in new lease

Salina, NY Starbucks has officially opened its newest café at 104 Elwood Davis Rd., taking over the former Burger King site near the intersection of Buckley Rd. and Seventh North St.

The new café, which features a drive-thru, is the result of an extensive renovation project that transformed the long-vacant Burger King, which closed in the fall of 2022.

As part of the redevelopment, major structural changes were made to the building, including the removal of the existing roof, with demolition and construction work overseen by the Town of Salina Planning and Zoning Department.

Initial plans for Starbucks’ arrival in Salina were revealed in late 2022, with early speculation suggesting a ground-up build on a vacant lot at the corner of Elwood Davis and Buckley Road. However, updated plans confirmed Starbucks would instead repurpose the former fast-food restaurant, giving the site a second life with a fresh, modern design tailored to the brand’s café and drive-thru concept.

The new location enhances the growing retail corridor and provides a convenient stop for commuters, residents, and visitors traveling through the Liverpool area.

Venture Brokerage Group is proud to have represented the tenant, Starbucks, in the site selection and lease negotiation process.
