"We are very pleased to award college scholarships to these outstanding students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life in their community," said Steve Dormer, executive VP, commercial lending of Provident Bank, who spoke at the June 28 ceremony honoring the scholarship winners. "We commend them for their community service and dedication to making their community a better place to live," he added.
