The Kaufman Organization secures two leases totaling 28,000 s/f at 460 West 34th Street
The Kaufman Org., representing 460 West 34th St., brokered two leases totaling 28,000 s/f. Counsel Press, LLC, and the Culinary Technical Center LLC, both signed 10-year leases in the Tenth Ave. building, upgrading their current locations and acquiring more space.
"This building which has been in the Kaufman portfolio for years is a perfect fit for Counsel Press and the Culinary Technical Center as they continue to grow. The added bonus of having a street-level presence offers the culinary academy more visibility in the neighborhood," said Edward Hart, partner in 460 West 34th St.
The Kaufman Org. signed the following new leases:
* Counsel Press signed a ten-year lease for 21,000 s/f. Daniel Kahn and Daniel Lipton of the Kaufman Org. represented the landlord while Richard Plehn and Tyler Owens of Colliers International represented the tenant.
* Culinary Technical Center signed a 7,000 s/f, 10-year lease. The culinary academy will have ground floor retail access and signage on 10th Ave. Kahn and Lipton represented the landlord while Eric Lassoff of Colliers International represented the tenant.
460 W. 34th St., built in 1927, is a 20-story, 528,520 s/fbuilding located near Penn Station on Tenth Ave. The building features both retail and office tenants, including YAI Network, Robert A.M. Stern, Visible World, LCM Studios, 34th Street Winery, and Food Depot among others.
