The Corcoran Group names Godwin senior managing director

The Corcoran Group has appointed Leigh Godwin to the position of senior managing director at the firm's flagship office located at 660 Madison Ave. Leigh was previously senior managing director of Corcoran's Williamsburg, Brooklyn office, which experienced phenomenal growth and success under her extraordinary leadership. During her 3.5 year tenure, she doubled the sales volume and tripled the profitability. Her astute market insight, expert motivational skills and a passion for the real estate business provided strong support for Corcoran's Williamsburg agents, and together they were an instrumental force in the transformation of Williamsburg into one of the most desirable residential neighborhoods in New York City today. Tresa Hall, executive vice president and director of sales for Corcoran said, "Leigh brings a keen mind, a strong grasp of our business, and an outstanding professional reputation to the East side office. With insight on the real estate markets in both Manhattan and Brooklyn, we are confident that she will continue to be a strong, sharp leader in our flagship office." Before she became a manager at Corcoran, Godwin accrued five years of hands-on experience as a top agent in residential real estate in Manhattan and Brooklyn. She is an honors graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
