Simi Capital Acquires $31 million industrial portfolio from 30-year legacy owner

Miami, FL Simi Capital Group, the real estate investment firm focused on various equity and debt strategies founded by Andrew Skydell and Jacob Diamond, have acquired an industrial portfolio for $31 million. The off-market transaction was handled by The Katsikos Group and further deepens Simi Capital's thriving local footprint while also reinforcing its expanding national presence.

This latest acquisition, located at 8505 NW 74th Street, comprises 80,000 s/f on 10.5 acres. Strategically positioned at the intersection of NW 74th Street and the recently expanded 87th Avenue, the property neighbors Blackstone’s newly developed Link Logistics industrial complex and sits just two miles west of Miami International Airport. With visibility and immediate access to major transportation routes, the site serves as a strategic hub ideal for industrial storage, logistics, maintenance, and manufacturing operations seeking to expand in this high-demand region.

The company has also has successfully negotiated a restructured 10-year lease with long-term tenant Iron Container, who is committed to the property and solidifying its continued presence in the Miami market. Rene Vivo, of Vivo Real Estate represented Iron Container in the transaction.
