Seidenberg and Brandel of CBRE arrange
45,000 s/f office lease at 900 Stewart Ave.

Garden City, NY In a transaction arranged by CBRE and Paragon Group, Garfunkel Wild P.C., specializing in health care, corporate, and business law, has inked a 45,000 s/f office lease at 900 Stewart Ave. The national law practice will house one of its New York offices on the fourth floor and part of the 250,000 s/f concourse office property in a two-building complex, Garden City Atria. The property is located minutes from the Roosevelt Field Shopping Center and is owned by Lionstone Capital and JFR Global Investments.

The CBRE team of Robert Seidenberg and Dan Brandel handled the leasing campaign at the complex and represented ownership in the negotiations.

“Garfunkel Wild is one of the most prominent health care law firms and we are thrilled that 900 Stewart Ave. will be their downstate New York future home,” said Seidenberg. “The law firm will be relocating its downstate office in the fall, and it was attracted to the property’s central location, abundant light, and beautiful soaring atrium lobby.”

“We are excited to welcome Garfunkel Wild to 900 Stewart Ave. as a great addition to our prestigious tenant roster,” Lionstone Capital and JFR Global Investments said in a statement. Building tenants include MassMutual, Apple Bank for Savings, Flagstar Bank, Greenberg Traurig, and Wright Risk Management.

Andrew Blustein, chairman of Garfunkel Wild, said, “All of us at Garfunkel Wild are excited about modernizing and expanding our downstate NY office. A modern and inviting environment for our employees and clients is paramount to our business across all of our offices throughout the country, and 900 Stewart Ave. fits that vision for our future.”

Garden City Atria is less than an hour’s drive from Manhattan, thirty minutes from JFK and LaGuardia Airports, and is proximate to Adelphi University, Hofstra University, and Nassau Community College. The two-building complex is seconds from the Meadowbrook Pkwy. and less than two miles from the L.I.E., the Southern State Pkwy., and the Northern State Pkwy. The property has a full-service cafe and lobby-level bistro serving Starbucks coffee.

The Paragon Group’s Jeffrey Nemshin and Jerry Guerra represented Garfunkel Wild in the lease negotiations.
