Schwartzberg elected Roslyn Heights mayor

Jeff Schwartzberg, immediate past president of the Commercial and Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island, was elected mayor of the Village of Roslyn Estates. Heading the newly-formed Team VisionRE ticket, Schwartzberg unseated incumbent mayor Susan Ben-Moshe. David Pennetta, who succeeded Mr. Schwartzberg as CIBS president, congratulated the new mayor on his victory, his first elected position in government. Mr. Schwartzberg, a CIBS board member, is a senior director at Colliers International LI Inc in Lake Success.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
