Resolution Real Estate leases 4,000 s/f to Five Iron Golf

Manhattan, NY John Thompson, director/leasing, and Justin Gentile, director/leasing of Resolution Real Estate, a member of NAI Global, have leased the penthouse suite at the Central Plaza Building, 18 East 41st St., to Five Iron Golf, a nationally acclaimed sports club known for its high-tech indoor golf simulators, and virtual driving ranges. The new space, which will serve as the organization’s New York headquarters, consists of a 4,000 s/f office space on the 21st floor that wraps around a 1,000 s/f private, outdoor terrace.

Resolution Real Estate is the leasing and managing agent of the building, representing the landlord, 18 East 41st Partners LLC. The tenant was represented by Alex Redlus and Kirill Azovtsev of Savills. Five Iron Golf is relocating its headquarters from 60 East 42nd St.

“The Central Plaza Building offers an exceptional location with proximity to transportation, which makes it a great choice for a firm with a national presence,” said Thompson. “Resolution, on behalf of ownership, made sure the largely built-out space met the needs of the tenant so that it would be move-in ready.”

Gentile said, “The tenant’s brokers were very helpful, and any requested modifications were quickly implemented. In addition, the tenant and its reps were impressed by a large terrace that is private and offers great views, a basic rarity in Midtown.”
