Medford, NY Rechler Equity Partners hosted an open house for brokers at 10 Donald’s Way, the inaugural property in the Rechler Business District at Medford. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to tour the 140,875 s/f industrial facility, located half a mile from the Long Island Expwy., and learn about its features from Rechler Equity’s executives.

“10 Donald’s Way is strategically located a half a mile south of the Long Island Expwy. at Exit 65,” said Rechler Equity co-managing partner Mitchell Rechler. “We design our buildings for flexibility, allowing us to offer tenants all size ranges. With 28-ft.ceilings, ESFR sprinkler system, sewers, multiple loading docks and drive-in options, 10 Donald’s Way can meet the demands of both warehouse users and manufacturers.”

Donald’s Way is named in honor of the late real estate innovator Donald Rechler and serves as a tribute to his pioneering influence, along with his brother, Roger, on Long Island’s commercial development landscape.

“From the inception of  the company our grandfather founded over 65 years ago to our current operation today, Rechler Equity  has  been dedicated to creating the most efficient, state-of-the-art commercial and industrial space for all business on Long Island,” said Gregg Rechler, co-managing partner of Rechler Equity. “It is their vision that inspired us to build these versatile spaces.”

“Rechler has always had a strong relationship with the brokerage community. There’s a mutual respect between us that allows for numerous lease transactions each and every year,” said Ted Trias, director of acquisition and Leasing.

Elected officials and economic development organizations lauded Rechler Equity for its investment in the regional economy at 10 Donald’s Way’s groundbreaking ceremony in 2023. With the creation of permanent and construction jobs and the potential for tenants new to the area to set up and expand operations in Suffolk County, the Rechler Business District at Medford is expected to be an economic driver for the region.

The Rechler Business District at Medford has come online following the completion of Rechler Equity’s Hampton Business District in Westhampton Beach, a five-building industrial park that houses a wide range of business tenants from various industries.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
