PWC to honor key women of the Port Authority N.Y./N.J.

On March 26, Professional Women in Construction (PWC) will pay tribute to the leading women at the Port Authority of N.Y. and N.J. who are playing key roles in the agency's $29.5 billion planned capital program, distributed over 10 years, to rebuild and expand the region's airports, bridges, ports, railways, tunnels and the WTC site. The PWC Annual Awards Reception will honor Susan Bass Levin, first deputy executive director, and a group of women from the Authority involved in the projects. The event will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at The Yale Club. "We salute the Authority for its commitment to stimulating economic growth in the region, and are proud to recognize some of the many women leaders involved in these major capital projects," said PWC president Lenore Janis.
