What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? I am the project architect for The Ashland, a new high-rise residential building in Brooklyn, which is currently under construction. I am looking forward to starting the process all over again with a new project. How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate? Cycling [solo], watching my daughters play organized and unorganized sports. Favorite book or author: Lately Haruki Murakami continues to captivate me. Favorite movie: Recently "Whiplash," has some interesting parallels in architecture. Last song you purchased/downloaded? Boards of Canada. Very geometric. One word to describe your work environment: Exhilarating. Rules to live by in business: Love what you do. To quote Chicago planner and architect of the Flatiron Daniel Burnham, "Make no little plans." My role as architect is part geometrician, part illusionist.
