Pearlmark welcomes Gordon as managing director

New York, NY Steve Gordon has joined Pearlmark as a managing director in the firms NYC office. Gordon joins Pearlmark with a focus on debt investment originations and capital formation, bringing over 25 years of real estate investment experience.

“I look forward to joining Steve, Doug, and the rest of the Pearlmark team. I am excited to contribute to the team in debt investments, originations, and capital formation,” said Gordon.

Gordon joins Pearlmark from Hunt Companies, where he served as a senior managing director and head of Hunt Capital Management. Prior to his time at Hunt, Gordon served as managing director at HPS Investment Partners and Sorin Capital, and as partner / portfolio manager at MKP Capital Management. He also served as a managing director at Bear Stearns, where he oversaw Non-Investment Grade CMBS Trading. He received his BS in Finance from Penn State University.

“Steve Gordon brings to Pearlmark a wealth of commercial real estate credit investment experience and industry relationships. He adds immediate value in the origination of investments for Pearlmark Mezzanine Realty Partners V,” said Doug Lyons, managing principal and head of debt investments for Pearlmark.
