NYCREW and AREW co-host joint event at IAC/InterActiveCorp. hqtrs.

NYCREW and AREW members recently toured IAC/InterActiveCorp's new world headquarters, a 150,000 s/f, 10-story building at 555 West 18th St., across from Chelsea Piers. The building, designed by Frank Gehry, with interiors designed by STUDIOS architecture, won the 2008 AIA Merit Award and the 2007 Architectural Record/Business Week Award of Excellence. Shannon Johnson, IAC's real estate coordinator, described the challenges, opportunities, and development of the project. Brian Tolman, Geoff DeOld and Sarah Schuster, the project team from STUDIOS architecture, highlighted the design process, and the ongoing collaboration that ensured the success of the new headquarters.
