NAI Long Island and Stack of CBRE collaborate in 95,898 s/f lease to Blue Bird Warehouse Corp.

Bohemia, NY NAI Long Island, the Long Island office of NAI Global, a leading global commercial real estate brokerage firm, negotiated a 95,898 s/f long-term industrial lease at 585 Johnson Ave. on behalf of Blue Bird Warehouse Corp. Additional terms of the lease were not disclosed.

Mark Pawlitschek, senior director at NAI Long Island represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord, CAES, was represented by Chris Stack of CBRE.

Blue Bird Warehouse is a multi-services logistics and cargo company that offers services such as warehouse storage, e-commerce fulfilment, order and inventory management and returns services. BBW is a family-owned and operated fulfilment company that has been in business for over 40 years.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
