Moritt Hock & Hamroff elevate Gavrilov and Kucica to partner; firm also promotes Adelman, Breidenbach, Fayer and Widell

Garden City, NY According to Moritt Hock & Hamroff, Julia Gavrilov and Dennis Kucica have been elevated to partner; Brian Adelman, Stephen Breidenbach and Sofia Fayer have been elevated to counsel; and Alexander Widell, a partner of the firm, has been elected to serve as co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, effective January 1, 2022.

Julia Gavrilov (Secured Lending & Creditors’ Rights) concentrates her practice in equipment leasing and finance, secured lending and all areas of complex commercial litigation.  In her 15 years of practice, she has emerged as a recognized leader in the industry, both on the transactional and litigation side.

Dennis Kucica (Trusts & Estates) serves a Co-Chair of the firm’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of trust and estate planning and also has significant experience in business succession planning and elder care law.

Brian Adelman (Trusts & Estates; Corporate) concentrates his practice in all aspects of estate and trust planning, real estate, and business and corporate matters.

Stephen Breidenbach (Privacy, Cybersecurity & Technology) serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Privacy, Cybersecurity & Technology Practice Group where he concentrates his practice in technology related legal matters, including cybersecurity and privacy compliance.

Sofia Fayer (Real Estate) concentrates her practice on representing clients on a variety of real estate matters, which include acquisitions and dispositions of real property, leasing and financing transactions.

Alexander Widell (Litigation) has over 30 years of experience in complex business litigation and is also well-versed in alternative dispute resolution. He has tried cases to conclusion in Court and in arbitrations conducted under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association, the New York Stock Exchange and FINRA.
