GVA Williams has completed a lease with the law firm Kalow & Springut which has signed a 10-year, 15,384 s/f lease renewal at 488 Madison Ave. Kalow & Springut, which has occupied the building for 10 years, worked with GVA Williams to conduct a rigorous assessment of the market. It ultimately decided that 488 Madison Avenue offered the best overall package. Leon Manoff, executive managing director of GVA Williams, represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. "After an exhaustive search, Kalow & Springut came to the conclusion that 488 Madison completely satisfied all of its needs," said Manoff. Built in 1949 and completely renovated in 1998, 488 Madison features an attended marble lobby, ground-floor retail, 24 hour/ 7 day access, a prestigious tenant roster and full floor identities. The building owner, The Feil Organization, owns and manages over 7.3million s/f of office space in New York, Chicago and Louisiana. The Feil Organization was represented by Eric Derfner, CEO of The Juster Group.
