Magnum Real Estate’s 389 E. 89 condominium tower is 90% sold

Manhattan, NY Premier condominium tower 389 E. 89, a 33-story residential offering on the Upper East Side, was the neighborhood’s top selling new development project in the first half of this year, according to Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group. Selling 15 residences within the first six months of the year, including a three-bedroom penthouse for $4.8 million, 389 E. 89 is now 90% sold.

The Magnum Real Estate Group-developed project is no stranger to breaking records. In 2016, when Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group launched sales, it was the top selling new development not only across the Upper East Side, but throughout all of Manhattan. It was also the top selling Upper East Side new development in 2017.

“Our project appeals to a wide range of buyers who value modern living in one of New York City’s most storied neighborhoods,” said Magnum president Ben Shaoul. “Buyers have resonated with our sophisticated take on urban living; elegant open kitchens, designer finishes and breathtaking views of Manhattan’s skyline. From our elaborate children’s playroom to the spacious roof deck to the design-savvy residences, we continue to break records as we built with today’s buyer in mind.”

Re-imagined throughout by Australian designer Paris Forino, 389 E. 89 offers a unique residential experience that combines elegance with urban living. In addition to the playroom and roof deck, the building’s communal spaces also include a landscaped and furnished garden terrace replete with grills and adjacent lounge, a 24-hour attended private residential lobby, residents’ lounge and fitness center.

Located on 89th St. between First and Second Aves., the building is centrally located between Central Park and Carl Schurz Park, surrounded by fine dining, cultural institutions, notable primary schools and public transportation, including the new Second Avenue subway.
