Long Island Commercial Network holds "Ides of March" Networking Gala

Over 375 people attended the Long Island Commercial Network's (LICN) Gala Networking event at Sugar. The Long Island Board of Realtors, along with all of its chapters and divisions joined LICN in hosting the "Ides of March" gathering. The event drew brokers, lenders, title, insurance, attorneys, owners, developers, and virtually anyone looking for new contacts within the real estate community. In addition to numerous door prizes, Alan Hendrickson, LICN president, introduced Jessica Spellman as "Cleopatra" and Mike Rittenhouse as "Julius Caesar." Beyond the normal networking, many of the participants said that they received referrals and new business leads. LICN is the commercial division of the L.I. Board of Realtors. While the history of LICN spans nearly 100 years, the current organization began 15 years ago. Today, the network group has about 200 members, affiliates and sponsors. The members enjoy many benefits including: education, networking, tuition refunds, a website for property listings, premier cocktail parties and discounted monthly breakfasts.
