Levin Management Corp. brings Bubbakoo’s Burritos to Old Bridge Plaza

Hicksville, NY Bubbakoo’s Burritos is coming to Old Bridge Plaza. The 1,200 s/f lease brings the retail property to 100% occupancy.

Levin Management Corp. (LMC) serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for Old Bridge Plaza, located at 180 West Old Country Rd. E.J. Moawad, LMC senior leasing representative, arranged the transaction on behalf of the property’s ownership; Mark Schmier of MSS Property Solutions represented the tenant.

Bubbakoo’s Burritos has been a Mexican-fusion staple since the brand’s inception in 2008.

Featuring a variety of unique, customizable menu items made to order with fresh ingredients, the brand has grown from its Jersey Shore roots to more than 100 locations across the United States. The experienced operator of the new Hicksville restaurant has several additional Bubbakoo’s Burritos locations in the region.

“Bubbakoo’s Burritos and its high-quality, affordable menu items are a great fit for Old Bridge Plaza and the local community,” said Moawad. “The property is an ideal match for this popular brand as well. Old Bridge Plaza offers excellent visibility at the signalized intersection of Old County Rd. and Newbridge Rd., in a neighborhood with strong population and income demographics. Further, Hicksville’s downtown commercial district is undergoing a revitalization, to the advantage of local businesses.”

Bubbakoo’s Burritos is the second popular brand Levin has brought onboard at Old Bridge Plaza; Jersey Mike’s opened at the shopping center in late 2022. Additional tenants at the 11,300 s/f property include Advance Auto Parts and Smashburger. The property offers proximity to public transportation, major highways and other regional retail. Hicksville’s business district revitalization includes public and private projects that will support increased access to transportation, improved walkability, new housing opportunities, and additional retail and restaurant space.
