Westbury, NY Nearly 50 members of IREON gathered for a day of golf, barbeque, and bonhomie at the Glen Oaks Club in Old Westbury, Long Island, to celebrate the organization’s first live event in more than a year. The business development organization, which boasts a membership exclusively made up of senior executives of service and product providers serving the real estate industry, is based in the New York Metro area. The springtime soiree scored a perfect weather day for the members to meet, many in person for the first time, and at a magnificent venue designed by architect Marc Spector of The Spector Group. Or as IREON Founder and CEO Steve Kirschner of Principals Direct Group pointed out, “Nothing’s better than a great handshake and big hug from members of our amazing group!” (Photography credit: Jill Lotenberg and Linda Alexander)
When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
