Gruttemeyer of ReMax Signature Real Estate talks about what he hopes to accomplish in 2009

What do you hope to accomplish in 2009? Having been elected to the board of directors and selected as the chair of the education committee, my goal in 2009 is to provide added value to the membership of NYSCAR Metro L.I. Hosting education/marketing sessions in the downstate area will provide continuing education credits that are germane to our business in commercial real estate. Making deals will be a primary goal of these meetings. Currently the first is set up for March 16, and will feature well respected instructor Bob Giniecki, CCIM, SEC. These sessions will be timed to supplement our sister chapter's programs and the Turning Stone Conference. Larry Gruttemeyer, CBR, SRES, RECS, is a licensed broker associate for ReMax Signature Real Estate, Smithtown, N.Y.
