Gottlieb of Schuckman Realty leases 2,800 s/f; firm also closes sale of 3.78 acre site

West Islip, NY Schuckman Realty has facilitated the leasing of two retail restaurant spaces at 494 and 510 Union Blvd. to Tropical Smoothie Café and Chiddy’s Cheese Steaks.

Edward Gottlieb, CRX, CLS of Schuckman Realty Inc. represented the landlord in a ten-year lease, for 1,600 s/f in the Captree Village Shopping Center. Rob Brennan of RIPCO Real Estate, represented the tenant, Tropical Smoothie Café. Gottlieb represented the landlord in another ten-year lease at Captree Village Shopping Center for 1,200 s/f to Chiddy’s Cheese Steaks. Tropical Smoothie Café and Chiddy’s Cheese Steaks are expected to open in the second quarter of 2021.

Tropical Smoothie Café and Chiddy’s Cheese Steaks will join national tenants such as Wild by Nature Supermarket, RiteAid, the USPS, Dollar Tree, Sterling National Bank and many more at the Captree Village Shopping Center.

Kenneth Schuckman and Jessica Vilmenay of Schuckman Realty Inc. represented the buyer, Lidl Market, in a purchase of a 3.78-acre property at 1147 Old Country Rd. in Riverhead. The site was a former 35,167 s/f Toys R Us.

Schuckman Realty Inc represents Lidl in their strategic expansion in Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk; most recently completing deals to bring a ground up Lidl Market to Deer Park and a portion of a former Waldbaums in Garden City Park as well as Riverhead. A number of additional deals are in negotiations throughout the territory, to be announced soon.
