GFI names Alfi as new president of investment sales and finance

GFI Capital Resources, one of the fastest growing diversified real estate and insurance firms in the nation, recently named Eyal Alfi as the president of investment sales and finance of GFI Realty Services, Inc. Alfi joins GFI from Washington Mutual, where he served as a senior vice president, closing over $1 billion in transactions during the past five years. He is an expert in all aspects of real estate and brings his extensive financial and managerial skills to GFI. "I am excited to have this tremendous opportunity with GFI Realty Services," said Alfi. "They are a talented group of top producers and will hopefully benefit from my extensive commercial real estate and banking experience. We will grow the division by expanding our presence, further increasing productivity, and building our brand not only in the metropolitan area, but throughout the country." Alfi has closed over 500 loans, primarily commercial, and was named the "Top Producer on the East Coast" in 2005. He received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as his MBA in Finance. "It is a complex time in the market right now," said GFI's CEO, Allen Gross. "Eyal's vision, drive, and abilities will help lead the team through the turbulent times ahead and will build upon the successes of GFI. We are confident he will be an invaluable asset to our company."
