GFI completes $600,000 sale of four-story walk-up

GFI Realty Services Inc. has completed the sale of 790 Classon Ave., a residential building, for $600,000. The four-story walk-up apartment building consists of eight, two-bedroom apartments totaling 5,128 s/f. Shlomo Antebi, senior broker at GFI Realty Services, represented the seller and Joseph Landau, also a senior broker at GFI, represented the buyer. "The building was sold with two vacant apartments," said Antebi. "The buyer intends to capitalize on the vacancies and the low monthly rents (approximately $613) as well as the increasing rental demand of the improving Prospect Heights neighborhood. This building is a long term investment for the buyer who is already planning major capital improvements." This multifamily apartment building was built in 1910 and is located near the 2, 3, 4 & 5 subway trains and is in close proximity to Prospect Park, Grand Army Plaza and the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens.
