Alfonse D'Amato, former United States senator of the State of New York, and Douglas Kydd, a leading healthcare real estate consultant, were honored at South Nassau Communities Hospital's 2007 Annual Carnation Ball. Senator D'Amato was the honoree of the event and Kydd was presented with the hospital's Mary Pearson Award.
South Nassau administrators, board members and medical staff members, as well as many of the region's leading healthcare executives and state and local public officials, were among the approximately 800 guests who attended the Carnation Ball held at the Cradle of Aviation in Garden City on November 3.
