Dreizen and Udis of Newmark Knight Frank broker 56,324 s/f lease

"The Moinian Group, an owner of more than 20 million s/f of office, residential, retail and hotel properties throughout the U.S. and abroad, signed a 56,324 s/f lease for American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. at 417 Fifth Ave. in New York, NY.", said, Daniel Gohari, vice president & director of commercial Assets. Bernard Weitzman and Jeffrey Kilimnick of CBRE negotiated on behalf of American Eagle Outfitters. Michael Dreizen and Andrew Udis of Newmark Knight Frank represented the Moinian Group. The new 56,324 s/f lease for American Eagle Outfitters, a national retail clothing chain, encompasses space on the 10th floor, part of the 9th floor and the entire 8th floor of the 410,000 s/f, 11-story office property. "We are pleased to welcome American Eagle Outfitters to 417 Fifth Ave.," said Gohari. "The Moinian Group acquired this property in July and in less than six months of ownership, we have achieved 100% occupancy." Situated on the corner of 38th Street in Manhattan, the property features high ceilings, modernized interiors, luxury amenities and an in-house management team. Major tenants of 417 Fifth Ave., which offers 50,000 s/f of prime retail space, include Turner Broadcasting, Atari, Marvel Entertainment and CIBC.
