Long Island, NY The Long Island chapter of CoreNet Global donated $35,000 – proceeds from the chapter’s 2018 golf outing – to Make-A-Wish Metro New York. Kathie Lombardi, Make-A-Wish Metro New York’s manager, National and Community Alliances, second from right, received the check on behalf of the organization.
Make-A-Wish Metro New York and Western New York is a non-profit organization that grants the wishes of children with critical illnesses.
Founded in 1983, their chapter serves children in the five boroughs of NYC, Nassau County and 17 counties in the Buffalo and Rochester areas.
In Fiscal Year 2018, they granted the wishes of almost 1,000 children from our communities and from around the world.
