Consolo and Aquino of Prudential Douglas Elliman coordinate 2,700 s/f lease

The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president, of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing and Sales Division, represented the landlord in leasing 1242 Madison Ave., a sought-after Madison Ave. corner location, to prominent Parisian children's apparel company Jacadi. This new boutique will be Jacadi's fifth and one of its largest Manhattan locations, occupying 1,500 s/f ground level and over 1,200 s/f in the basement. "With so many strollers flooding the sidewalks of this side of Madison Ave. every day, high-fashion children's apparel shops are in high demand," said Consolo. "Jacadi has long been established as a premier designer, and is opening another area location in response to the growing demand from the neighborhood's large population of well-heeled patrons." "Madison Ave. never fails to attract the best retailers from around the world," said Aquino. "As soon as we began our marketing campaign for the property, we heard from a myriad of renowned companies, all competing to attain the tony address."
