Cohens of Ashlind Properties arranges 38,000 s/f industrial lease

Richard Cohen of Ashlind Properties arranged a lease for 38,000 s/f of flex space on behalf of Display Presentations Ltd., close to the trade show display manufacturer's headquarters. Display Presentations, which has its headquarters in 57,000 s/f at 175 Kennedy Dr., leased the additional space at 5 Plant Ave., an 80,319 s/f building purchased little more than a year ago by Big Plans LLC. FragranceX.com Inc., an Internet perfume marketer, occupies the rest of the building. Display Presentations previously occupied space at 5 Plant Ave., but moved out in 2002. Cohen, assisted by Ashley Cohen of Ashlind Properties, represented both the tenant and the landlord in the transaction. The deal brings Richard Cohen's completed sales and lease transaction volume so far this year to 408,000 s/f. Recently, Costar, the online real estate site, designated Cohen an Industrial Leasing Power Broker for the consecutive year and Long Island Business News honored him for the second consecutive year as the top property broker on Long Island.
