Cary, NC Three more commercial real estate executives have joined The Massimo Group’s team of consultants and coaches, according to Rod Santomassimo, founder and president.
Joining the firm are: Nicholas Chang, a senior vice president at NAI Capital, Ontario, Calif.; Heidi Mickelson, managing director for Intermountain Investments, Inc.|SVN, Boise, Idaho; and Chris Rogala, president of Office Space Chicago. Each will maintain his or her own independent business while working with Massimo Group clients across North America.

Chang specializes in selling and leasing industrial and commercial properties suitable forwarehousing, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, and research & development in Southern California’s Inland Empire. He also focuses on the sales & leasing of multi-tenant industrial & office parks.
Since the start of his career in 2002, Chang has averaged more than 50 industrial building transactions per year. He has represented millions of square feet of multi- and single-tenant office and industrial properties in Southern California owned by local and institutional owners such as Panattoni Development Company, Rexford Industrial, Dexus Property Group, Sperry Van Ness Equities, and Owens Development. His tenant representation clients include Hyundai-Kia North America, Toshiba America, City National Bank, Tesoro Oil Company, USA Gasoline, Komatsu Forklift USA, and others. A holder of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, Chang is a multi-year NAI “Capital Club” award recipient.
A specialist in the sale of commercial investment property in Idaho and throughout the Intermountain West with more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience, Mickelson has completed retail, industrial, office and multifamily investment transactions throughout the country. Prior to joining SVN, Mickelson served Colliers International as a principal and associate broker in Boise and Ketchum, Idaho. In 1990, Mickelson co-founded Pacific Properties Group in Los Angeles, California.
Previously, she was a consultant for Homart Development, assisting with the recapitalization of several mixed-use projects in California and Illinois, and served with Coldwell Banker Institutional Real Estate Services in San Francisco. She has earned the CCIM and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designations.
A 25-year veteran in Chicago’s commercial real estate industry, Rogala specializes in office leasing and sales representing both tenants and landlords. He began his career in 1992 and for the past 24 years has been working with tenants and landlords to find creative solutions to their office challenges focusing on their ultimate vision for their company and office space. He has worked with companies ranging from startup firms looking for inexpensive and flexible lease options to representing Google, Oracle, Fed Ex, Office Depot, Ford Models and other Fortune 500 firms.
He is a former member of the National Association of Realtors and Chicago Association of Realtors, a member and past Chicago Board Member of FIABCI-the International Real Estate Federation. He also has past memberships in the Commercial Real Estate Organization (CREO), the Chicago Architecture Foundation and the Better Government Association.
The three join current Massimo Group coaches Brad Ahrens, Andy Banister, Bo Barron II, Justin Beck, Brian French, Don Gabriel, Howard Meier, Doug Molyneaux, Jeff Nelsen, Michael O’Mara, David Reed, Paul Reitz, Ralph Spencer, Marge Stratton, Blaine Strickland, Gary Tharp and Enon Winkler in offering clients one-to-one or group coaching and video conference calls, combined with the firm’s proprietary systems and materials.
