CBRE arranges 8,367 s/f lease at 61 West 23rd St. for The Action Network

Manhattan, NY CBRE has completed an 8,367 s/f office lease at 61 West 23rd St. The Action Network, a sports media company featuring news and analysis focused on sports betting in the United States, inked a long-term lease on the second floor of the seven-story, luxury loft office property located in the Flatiron District. 

The CBRE team of Paul Amrich, Neil King, Alexander Golod and Meghan Allen spearheaded the leasing campaign at 61 West 23rd St. and represented the ownership, 61 West 23rd Street LLC, in the negotiations. The asking rent was $78 per s/f. 

“With its recent redevelopment, 61 West 23rd Street offers a distinguished product in the Flatiron District. We are thrilled to welcome Action Network to the building and continue to attract highly regarded tenants alike,” said Colleen Wenke, president, Taconic Development Advisors, as Ownership’s development advisor.

Built in 1887 and modernized in 2021, 61 West 23rd Street is a historic property with newly created loft-style office space with boutique floor plates, high ceilings and prebuilt availability.  The building features a restored façade, brand-new attended lobby, new freight lobby and new elevator cabs. Ownership welcomed new retail tenants including Sisu Cosmetics and Empire State of Wine. The building is located one block west from Madison Square Park and close to all major subway lines.
