Bloom of Helmsley Spear and Daly of Rudin Management broker 1,750 s/f

Manhattan, NY Helmsley Spear, LLC brokered a new lease at 1305 2nd Ave. on the Upper East Side totaling 1,750 s/f according to Kent Swig, president.

“We are thrilled that Helmsley Spear is establishing itself as an Upper East Side retail deal maker.  We expect to see additional leasing activity in prime Manhattan markets in the coming months,” said Swig.

Scott Bloom, senior vice president of Helmsley Spear represented the tenant in this lease while Kevin Daly represented the landlord–Rudin Management Co., Inc.–in house. The lease term is 15.5 years and it is for the entire ground floor.

“Having been a neighborhood store for decades, we are pleased to have Tower Chemists as a tenant in one of the Upper East Side’s most sought after luxury rental buildings,” said Bloom.   

Tower Chemists is a specialty pharmacy with a retail facility. The multi-lingual staff accommodates clients with personalized service and a vast selection of specialized health care products.
