According to SWBR Architects, Deborah Barletta, CIP, LEED AP BD+C, was named a Certified Information Professional (CIP) by the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM). Barletta, who serves as Records Manager, corporate intranet developer and administrator, and LEED administrator at SWBR, received her certification in December.
Certified information professionals are tasked with planning and supporting new environments within a department, across departmental boundaries or throughout an extended enterprise. Developed in accordance with ISO Standard 17024, assuring conformity to accepted procedures for certification programs, CIP candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the six domain areas across the spectrum of content and information management. Those areas are Access/Use, Secure/Preserve, Capture/Manage, Architecture/Systems, Collaborate/Deliver and Plan/Implement.
Barletta attended Monroe Community College and Nazareth College, and resides in Walworth.
