Axelrod & Cherveny honored for Providence in the Park project-200 unit senior housing complex

Developers Greenview Properties and architects Axelrod & Cherveny recently were the recipients of an award for the Smart Growth Project of the year. Greenview Properties and Axelrod & Cherveny collaborated on the concept, design, and construction of Providence on the Park-a 200-unit senior housing complex nestled in the magnificent landscape adjacent to Connetiquot River State Park. Providence on the Park includes one and two bedroom rental homes featuring generous interior spacing as well as high-end amenities and appliances. A luxury clubhouse, exercise and community room, and affordable prices offer Long Island's growing population of empty nesters and seniors with an excellent retirement living option. Glen Cherveny, architect for the development, was pleased that the development was recognized, "The setting for Providence on the Park offered us a beautiful natural area to provide much needed senior housing. It is always a pleasure to work with Larry Gargano, owner of Greenview Properties, in helping to create a beautiful livable community."
