Patrick O’Sullivan
Lead Superintendent
JT Magen

“Over the last six years at JT Magen, Patrick has risen from assistant superintendent to lead project superintendent on jobs both in NYC and nationwide. One of his recent milestones was completing the expansion of Netflix Studios in Albuquerque, NM, the ground-up construction of eight buildings on a 130 acre-site.” - Vincent Ryan, Vice President at JT Magen.

How do you balance your rising career with your personal life?

I absolutely love what I do. Every day is a new experience with different challenges that force me to think on my feet and adapt to the needs of each job. JT Magen is a fantastic company that encourages its employees to lead fulfilling lives outside of work.

Beyond your professional achievements, what are some of your passions or hobbies?

I use every opportunity to travel or get outdoors. I love camping, hiking, fishing and skiing. I have also recently traveled around Europe, and I greatly enjoy learning about other cultures, especially by experiencing local cuisines.

3. Who are the key people in your life that have contributed to your success?

Several leaders at JT Magen have provided me with inspiration and opportunities for growth. Vinny Ryan, who hired me and believed I could adapt to the demanding New York market. Mike Connaughton, whose management skills gave me confidence to handle any challenge. Trevor Willis, who guided me through my initial solo projects.

4.? Outside of your career, where? else do you seek continuous learning and personal growth??

I have a passion for learning about the commercial and residential real estate markets and enjoy listening to different podcasts and networking at meetups. I am also interested to learn about growing markets within the U.S. and look for opportunities where JT Magen can make its mark within them.
