Zaid joins Sierra Realty as senior vice president

Sierra Realty Corp., has hired Gary Zaid, an accomplished project management specialist with more than two decades of experience in the field, as senior vice president of residential property management, according to James Wacht, president of the full-service New York-based real estate firm. Prior to joining Sierra, Zaid served as owner's representative at A. S. Realty Partners where he negotiated $37 million in sales and managed $14 million in construction projects. Zaid is the former president and CEO of G.S. Universal Construction, Inc., a New York-based company that managed more than $90 million in projects including the $75 million Chelsea Towers at 100 West 26th St. and the landmark Carl Fisher Building at 62 Cooper Square. "Gary's impressive portfolio underscores his industry expertise, shrewd business sense and versatility in all areas of project management," said Wacht.
