Total Wine & More opens 32,000 s/f store at North Village Shopping Center

North Brunswick, NJ Total Wine & More, the nation’s largest independent retailer of wine, spirits and beer, has opened at North Village Shopping Center situated on Route 1. Levin Management Corporation (LMC) is the leasing and managing agent for the 124,000 s/f shopping center.

The new 32,000 s/f store – Total Wine’s seventh in New Jersey – brings the center to 100% occupancy.

With approximately 286 stores across 30 states and plans to reach 300 by year-end, Total Wine & More is celebrated for its expansive product selection, competitive pricing, and in-store experiences including tastings, classes, and events. Shoppers will find 8,000 wines from every wine-producing region in the world, along with thousands of spirits and hundreds of domestic, imported, and craft beers. The store also features exclusive brands and highlights local New Jersey producers, making it a true destination for both everyday favorites and unique finds.

Ed Vasconcellos, LMC leasing representative, represented the landlord in the lease transaction. Brian Schuster of Ripco represented Total Wine & More.

“We are excited to welcome Total Wine & More to our North Brunswick property,” said Vasconcellos. “This addition reflects LMC’s strategy of securing best-in-class national retailers for the centers we manage. Total Wine’s strong brand identity, broad consumer appeal, and focus on delivering an exceptional shopping experience make it a perfect fit for this location.”

North Village Shopping Center is anchored by Trader Joe’s and now Total Wine & More, with additional national and regional tenants including Michaels, Staples, Ulta Beauty, Panera Bread, Smashburger, Chili’s, Mattress Warehouse and more. According to Placer.ai, the center draws approximately 2.6 million visits annually. Situated along Route 1, one of central New Jersey’s busiest retail corridors, the property benefits from high visibility, easy access, and a densely populated trade area within one of the state’s most dynamic consumer markets.

“North Village Shopping Center has always been part of the North Brunswick community, and reaching full occupancy with Total Wine & More is a proud milestone,” said Matthew K. Harding, chief executive officer of Levin Management Corporation. “Together, Trader Joe’s and Total Wine create a unique experience that will attract shoppers from well beyond the local area and strengthen the center as a regional destination.”
